A shikara crossing Dal Lake with the snow-covered Zabarwan range behind Srinagar

Kashmir specialists, based in Srinagar

Kashmir, at your own pace

Private trips through the valley planned by people who live here. Local drivers, itineraries with room in them, and someone to call while you travel.

One driver, one plan

The same local driver for your whole trip, and one person to call.

Built around you

Every itinerary is shaped to your dates, your pace and your group.

Honest itineraries

We tell you which days are long and what is not worth the detour.

Reachable on the road

Weather turns and passes close. We reshape the days as it happens.

A small company that would rather plan one trip well

Sada arranges private trips through Kashmir and the roads around it, from a few slow days on Dal Lake to a fortnight that reaches the far corners. We drive these roads ourselves.

How we work

Why travel with Sada

There are a lot of people who will sell you a Kashmir package. Here is what makes ours different in practice.

  1. 01

    We live here

Sada is run from Srinagar, not a sales desk in another city. The people planning your trip drive the roads and know which houseboat is worth the night.

  2. 02

    One driver, one plan

You keep the same vehicle and driver for the whole trip, and one person to call if anything changes. No handoffs between agents who have never spoken.

  3. 03

    Honest itineraries

We tell you which days are long on the road, when a detour is not worth it, and exactly what is and is not included. No surprises at the taxi stand.

  4. 04

    We plan for the weather

Passes close and the gondola shuts. Our itineraries have slack built in, so a bad day costs you an afternoon, not the trip.

In their words

What travellers said

We told them we wanted mountains but hated long car days, and they actually listened. Three nights in Aru, short walks, a lot of sitting by the river. It was the calmest week we have had in years.

The gondola was shut for two of our three days in Gulmarg. Instead of pretending otherwise, our driver knew a lower run where I could still ski and the guy at the hotel sorted lessons for my wife. They planned for the weather, which is the whole trick here.

Send us a rough idea, the dates you are working with, and how many of you there are. We will come back with a plan, not a brochure.
